Shannon O'Dowd is an on-camera instructor & coach specializing in hosting training for infomercials (DR), Entertainment Reporting, Shopping Channels, Reality TV, Talk Shows, and Teleprompter Training.
Originally from St. Petersburg, FL with a degree in Theatre Performance from Florida State University, Shannon is a Spokesperson, Host, and Actor has been working professionally in the entertainment industry for the last decade. She has had recurring roles in shows like The Bold and The Beautiful and series regular roles in shows like the medical drama Diagnosis X.
As a spokesperson, she has had several national campaigns including Sunsweet Raisins, OfficeMax, Cable One, Invisalign, Discovery Toys and Nissan. As a host, she has interviewed many celebrities, sold products as a recurring guest expert on QVC, and has been the face of many spots in the infomercial world including Aerobed, Instant Figure, Nano Gym, Slim N Lift, Think and Lose, Lipozene, Bankruptcy Legal Network, and many more!
Shannon’s teaching style – caring, enthusiastic, and specific. She trains her students to “pop” by being a host with a lot of life, perspective, and a strong point of view. Her adjustments are spot-on and the information she provides stays with her students and aids in many areas of on- camera work, even beyond just hosting! She’s a favorite among students.

Chase Cain is a 3-time EMMY Award-winning television personality. He currently reports from the red carpet for Hulu and works work as an on-camera correspondent for NBC LA.
With more than 11 years of television experience, Chase has also won an Edward R. Murrow Award and multiple honors from the Associated Press. He has appeared on numerous cable networks, from Comedy Central and The Weather Channel to CNN and MSNBC.
Chase grew up in metro Atlanta and graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Broadcast News. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2009, he has appeared in several national television commercials and promos for AT&T, the NFL Network, and A&E.
As a working host for national television audiences, Chase hopes to bring the most relevant expertise to his classes at Killian's Workshop.
